Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog!

What’s with this ‘new’ phenomena anyways? Do we really read other people blogs? Really? hmm … Okay, okay, I know it’s not THAT new … It’s already been going on for a couple of years.

But what really inspires people to create one? More intriguingly, what drives people to READ someone else’s??? It’s the same reason behind the ‘reality show’ phenomena. Inside each and everyone of us is a SNOOP, itching to take a peek into someone else’s life. Why do we have the urge to do it? My theory is we are ALL dissatisfied with our lifes, in one time or another … Maybe not all the time, but at some low points, we all have experienced the same feeling. STUCK. We’re stuck in a rut. Stuck in the same job, same work, same chores … Every day the same thing, over … and over … and over … again and again … It’s the same shit. And then we turn to other people’s life. Just to see if they’re rolling around in a muck, just as we are. And then we’d feel better if they’re in the same predicament .. or even worse … We’re hoping and praying there are dramas, lots of ‘em … Break-ups, broken hearts, dillemas, parents troubles, sibbling rivalry, bad hair days, whatever … Or maybe it’s just sinister old me … HO HO HO! ^_^;;

So, enjoy (or don’t) my rants and/or raves … Welcome to my blog! ^_~ *winkz*

    There are lot of reasons why we blog:
    - To influence people. Spread news. World peace. Hehe, of course depends on your readership.
    - To communicate, or initiate one. See, it feels good to get a comment, doesn’t it? No??? Aww… ^_^
    - To practice writing. I do, hehe.
    - etcetera

    And of course why we read blogs:
    - To be ‘cool’. Know trends. Get updates.
    - To communicate. Yeaah.. feel good to write comments and see them online, and replied of course ^_^
    - To practice writing. Again, I do.. =P
    - etc.

    Hmm.. not that many it turns out.

    As for the drama, you never know what you can learn from others.

    Btw, you’re subscribed. There are just too few blogs I know personally ^___^ Nice reading you, Mel.

    No, not all are dissatisfied with our lives. But to my theory, people blog because they’re attention whore. That’s why. He he he.
